The EO4AGRI project will produce a Whitepaper on the needs for improved EO (COPERNICUS) services. This document will be addressed to the European Commission and other authorities. It will contain actionable recommendations for improvements to COPERNICUS services, in the form of a Strategic Research Agenda, a Policy Roadmap and a Cooperation Framework.
These documents will be developed using a Foresight approach based on a process of consultation with user-communities in order to ensure that they reflect the interests of stakeholders involved in precision farming, agricultural finance, the CAP payment system, and global food security.
The starting point of the exercise involves the gathering of EO user requirements related to each of these communities. This will be carried out using a series of engagement activities involving hackathons, sense-making and deep-dive workshops.
